Unbreakable and Split unite in this film- Glass. Not only does this film have a stellar cast- Samuel L. Jackson, Bruce Willis, and James McAvoy, but it also has a brilliant set up. I love the way this film is grounded in reality and is less about heroes coming together- it instead looks to reign chaos with the villains- Suicide Squad style- just hopefully better.
Universal Studios may have a new franchise on its hands. Not only does it own Illumination Entertainment, the Jurassic Park and Fast and the Furious franchises, it now also owns the "Eastrail 177 Trilogy," also known as the Unbreakable series. I think, if Glass is as successful as Split, it could just become a new franchise- because franchises are the rage these days in Hollywood.
